  I was actually getting ready to draw another Pokemon picture for my friend Aaron. That time, however, it was going to be a commission and he was going to pay me so I wanted it to turn out well! Lol.

And so, I'd been practicing and doodling some of the Pokemon that he wanted in the picture. Charizard being one of them. Now, this is just a doodle so there isn't much I can say about it (or the quality or it) but I thought it looked kind of cool so I'm posting it. :D

UPDATE: So I finally bought a new scanner and scanned the doodle. It looks SO much better and cleaner now, no more crappy cell-phone pics. Lol. That, and I don't think I'll be doing that commission anytime soon - too much going on and Aaron and I don't see each other much anymore. Oh well - the scan looks great. :D

UPDATE 2: Here is the Mighty Charizard! You might recognize this picture because it's in the gallery already. The difference? This one is coloured! I haven't coloured in a while either - especially not with Photoshop. This was done using my new tablet that DJ bought me for my birthday. :D

Overally, I actually think it turned out pretty cool for being my first tablet-colouring job. The colours were directly copied from official artwork so that I knew I wouldn't make any mistakes.

Charizard is awesome, really. He's not my favorite by any means, but the more I play with him in Smash Bros. Brawl the more I come to appreciate how powerful and majestic he is.   [permalink]
